Daisy first appeared in "Branch Line Engines" to do Thomas' work while he was being mended, but she was troublesome, insulting Henrietta, Annie and Clarabel and refusing to pull freight, claiming it was "bad for her swerves". The Fat Controller soon found out and threatened to send her away, but kept her for her work after Percy collided with a train of stone. She has appeared in most branch line volumes since.
Appearances
In the television series, she first appeared in the second season. She later returned in the fourth season, but since had only made a cameo in "Calling All Engines".
Basis
Daisy is based on a BR/Metro-Cammell DMU Class 101/102, except she is only a single railcar rather than the traditional two.
Livery
Daisy is painted green with yellow lining (similar to the livery of British Railways DMUs in the 1960s).
