Trivia

Audio files within the game show that Gina and Philip were intended to be added at a later date, however they were later cancelled.
Mark Moraghan serves as the narrator for the game.
This is the only time in which Axel and Ivan are mentioned by Mark Moraghan.
Emily has her Calling All Engines!-twelfth series whistle sound.
Toby has his original bell sound.
This is the first app to feature Donald and Douglas, as well as the only app to feature them in their CGI forms.
Some engines have a few whistle/horn sounds sourced from fan uploads on YouTube:
- Oliver and Ryan's whistles were taken from recreations by DemonOfNowhere.
- Ashima, Yong Bao, Raul, and Axel's whistles and Ivan's horn were taken from a whistle/horn compilation from The Great Race by SamTheTrainFan.

Goofs

Diesel and Ivan are seen wheeshing steam and heard making chuffing sounds, despite both of them being diesel engines.
Edward is missing his siderods.
James' wheels are grey and he has only one lamp iron.
Donald and Douglas are missing their tenders in the 'Tidmouth In Winter' area.
Ashima has Stepney and Rheneas' fourth series whistle sound in a low pitch.
Victor has the Rainbow Sun's whistle sound.
Donald and Douglas have their whistle sounds swapped.
Axel's whistle sound is low pitched.
Yong Bao has Luke and Axel's whistle sound in a lower pitch.
Raul's whistle sound is high pitched.
