The Red Engine is a tender engine.
Bio
The Red Engine was built in 1876 and arrived on Sodor in 1922. In the Sodor Island Forum's "Extended Railway Series" fanfiction library, he is called Eagle. In the same library of volumes, he runs the Normanby branch with another engine called Hunter, which explains his absence in the Railway Series.
Appearance
The Red Engine only appeared in "The Three Railway Engines".
Basis
He is based on L&YR Class 25 with added pony truck, converting into a 4-6-0, a curved down footplate at front and neck holders replacing front sandboxes.
Livery
He is painted red with purple lining and an black dome.
